Weekly Update - September 6th
- Clubhouse Hours – The days are getting shorter and as we move into September the clubhouse will close earlier. We will keep you updated but we typically have the kitchen open 30-45 minutes past sunset.
- The clubhouse will be closed tonight at 5pm, sorry for any inconvenience.
- Going forward there will be only 1 beer cart on the golf course as we near the end of golf season.

o Junior Rules – We have sent out a listing of rules and etiquettes to all junior members and for all members to read. As a reminder all juniors must sign their member liability agreements to have continued access to all DB facilities.

· Driving Range – We are moving to the grass range starting Friday May 10th. The range mats will be closed while the grass range is open. Tentatively the grass range will be used everyday except Mat Monday’s (all day on the mats), and from 12-3 Tuesday to Thursday (when the school kids use the range). We will incorporate some other mat usage through the season and keep you updated. By giving the grass a break, we feel we should see better range turf in the future.

· Fairway Tarps – We have seeded and tarped areas on holes 3 and 5. Please play as ground under repair and play shot from nearest point of relief. We hope in 2-3 weeks these areas will be back in play and with grass much more playable than before.

Junior Golf Camps

This year we are offering a camp every Tuesday & Wednesday from July 9 & 10, 2024 to July 30 & 31, 2024. Each day runs from 11:30am to 2:30pm. You do not need to sign up for every week but you will get a discount for each extra week you sign up for. Please email dillonbatsel8@gmail.com to register. Include your kid's name, age and an emergency contact. There will be a limit on how many kids each week will hold, so sign up as soon as you're able to. Prices are as follows: 1 week=$120, 2 weeks=$230, 3 weeks=$330, 4 weeks=$420

· Course Re-Opening – Saturday Apr.20th – The course should open for play around mid-day tomorrow. Watch the app for updates or phone the pro shop. All tee times will be pushed back to accommodate the later start.

· Corporate Passes – Corporate passes have been printed and will be available for pick up in the Pro Shop along with an individual range card. Passes administered by the pro shop will also have the range card attached for usage but kept at the pro shop.

· Bag Tags & Range Cards – We have new bag tags for this year. All members will have a new bag tag that will be available for pick up in the pro shop. When getting your bag tag you will also be able to pick up your driving range card for the range ball machine. If you have any issues with the range card, please contact Karla in the Admin Office.

· Demo Days – Titleist Fit Day – Saturday April 27th 11-5pm. Book your appt. today.

o Cobra Fit Day – Sunday April 28th – 10am-3pm

· Sales – Great deals on 2023 clothing, hats, and seasonal lululemon.

· Course Opening – Wednesday April 10th

· Booking Tee Times – We have heard of people having problems booking tee times through the Desert Blume app. If so, try using your web browser and going to Tee-On.com. Click sign in and enter your username and password. We have had better success booking tee times this way.

o Reciprocal rates with MHG&CC and Connaught GC. Play 18 holes with a cart for $70 Fri-Sun and $60 Mon-Thurs.

o Guest rates of $75 Fri-Sun and $60 Mon-Thurs for any guests who are playing in the same group as their member. The member must let us know so we can charge guests appropriately.

o Loyalty Points – All members excluding juniors will receive loyalty points for pro shop, clubhouse, snack shack, and beverage cart purchases for the year. New this year we will have double points on clubhouse food purchases. Accumulated points may be used to purchase product from the pro shop or clubhouse at any time during the year. Some exceptions on loyalty points do apply, so please check with office for more details or if you have questions.

April 1, 2024 - Opening Details

· Tarp Removal – We are asking for any volunteers to help with tarp removal, Tuesday April 2nd at 11am. Short notice but the weather has changed for the better. We thank anyone that can come out to help us.

· Clubhouse Opening – We are pleased to announce the clubhouse will be opening Friday April 5th. We will have a full menu available, and our hours will be 11am-6pm until the course opens. We will also have our full drink menu along with draft beer options available.

· Range Opening – The driving range will open Monday April 8th. The range will be open 11am-5pm Monday and Tuesday. We will have our new range balls but be hitting off the old mats. The grass range is a few weeks away from use.

· Course Opening – Wednesday April 10th. We are pleased to announce the official opening day as April 10th. We will have cart paths only for the first few days and a few tee boxes still covered with tarps, possibly some sand traps filled with snow, but all greens and fairways will be open.

o Tee Sheet – The tee sheet will open tomorrow at 12pm. Once open, members will have access to book the next 10 days, so both Saturday April 13th and Sunday April 14th will be live at noon. Members will be able to book every day until Friday April 19th, so make you preparations to get your tee times. Please note, in the spring, start times are around 9am or later to avoid frost, so this will put a real crunch on tee sheet availability that should ease as the days get warmer. At this time of the year morning tee times will book up in minutes but should ease as our tee sheet expands to earlier tee times.

o Tee Times – Due to the limited availability at this time of year, please do not over book your groups and make sure to cancel any spots or times that will not be used. We thank you in advance for your consideration of this request.
